Tuesday 5 January - Andy Warhol

Colin and Mary seen through the camera of Andy Warhol
Today we visited the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris where the main exhibition was Warhol Unlimited.  Many of the well known items were there including the Campbells Soup cans and the Brillo and Heinz boxes.  Perhaps the most captivating exhibit was a room which contained large silver pillow-shaped balloons which were moving around from the air flow.  Every so often a balloon would try and escape and had to be brought back by the security person.

The forecast was for rain but it was fair in the early afternoon and we decided to walk back along the rue d'Iena to the Etoile then through Parc Monceau.
The musee Galeria looked good in the afternoon sun
The musee Galeria had a good display of color in the flowerbeds.
There were good views of the Eiffel Tower from across the river.
