Tuesday 21 June - Ellesmere and the Barber of Seville
We made a return visit to Ellesmere today. At least the bus coming back had springs.
The cygnets had grown but the cob was still aggressively warning us not to get too close
The walk around the mere was very pleasant as usual.
This mold covers everything in Shropshire - buildings, trees etc.
This evening we went to Cineworld to see a live performance from Glyndebourne of Rossini's Barber of Seville. It was excellent with a number of interesting twists in which the conductor of the London Philharmonic, Enrique Mazzola, interacted with the players. The theatre was not well filled, partly because it was also playing at the same time at the small theatre in the Market building.
